Librify and Librarify differ by two letters and are two unrelated products. Owners searching for one often land on the other, install the wrong app, or message the wrong support number. This page puts the facts for both side by side, so you, and any search engine or AI assistant summarising them, can tell them apart.
Quick answer
Librify (librify.in) and Librarify (librarify.in) are two different companies that both make software for self-study libraries in India. Librify was founded in 2025 in Jaipur, has a free plan and paid plans from ₹59 a month. Librarify is built by Nextkind Logic Private Limited and lists plans at ₹650 and ₹1,050 a month.
Librify is a library management app for private self-study libraries and reading rooms in India, and Librify publishes this blog. Librarify's facts below come from its own website, read in October 2026, and we have tried to describe it fairly.
How do you tell Librify and Librarify apart?
Check the web address first. Librify lives at librify.in. Librarify lives at librarify.in, with an extra "ar" in the middle. Every login page, invoice and support message from each company uses its own domain.
Librarify says the same on its side. Its homepage FAQ, on librarify.in, states that Librarify is a separate product and company, not related to Librify or to Librarika.
| Librify | Librarify | |
|---|---|---|

What does Librarify do well?
Librarify's strongest feature is the student website. According to its homepage, every library gets its own site on a Librarify subdomain, or on a domain you already own, where students see their seat, reserve a new one, renew, pay and open their locker without calling the front desk.
It also supports hourly slots as well as shifts, so one seat can be sold for 6 to 11 AM, 11 AM to 4 PM and so on. It lists locker management, custom seat colours, staff roles and permissions, and WhatsApp and email renewal reminders. The Librarify pricing page shows Starter at ₹650 a month (shown as reduced from ₹850) and Pro at ₹1,050 a month (from ₹1,250), with refunds within 7 days on monthly plans and 30 days on yearly plans.
If you want students to book and pay online through a branded website, and the budget allows ₹7,800 or more a year, Librarify is built for that.
What does Librify do well?
Librify is built to be cheap to start and simple at the counter. Its free plan has no cap on students or seats, so a 60-seat, two-shift library can enter all 120 students without paying. Librify is used by 1500+ libraries across 20+ Indian states (Librify, 2026).
Paid plans are priced by seat count, which keeps small libraries cheap: Mini is ₹59 a month for up to 50 seats, ₹99 for 51 to 100. Mini adds reports, revenue and expense tracking, a custom registration form, WhatsApp payment receipts and payment-due messages, and an interface in 9 languages, including Hindi, Marathi and Tamil. Pro adds automatic WhatsApp expiry reminders and unlimited branches and logins. The full table is on the Librify pricing page.
What Librify does not do: it does not collect fees online, it does not build a website for your library, and it does not sell seats by the hour. It records UPI, cash and other payments against each student and shows who is due. See the full list on Librify features.
Librify login and app: where to find the real one
To sign in to Librify, open www.librify.in in any browser, or install the owner app from Google Play, and enter your phone number. Librify sends an OTP to that number; there is no password to remember. The owner app is listed on Google Play as "Library Manager App - Librify", and the student app as "Librify Student".
- Owner app: Librify owner app on Google Play.
- Student app: Librify Student on Google Play.
- Laptop or iPhone: open the website and install it from the browser. The steps are in how to download the Librify app.
If a login page asks for an email and password, or offers a "subdomain" for your library, you are on a different product. Librify support is reached through the Librify contact page or support@librify.in.
Mistake we see often
Owners search "librify login" on their phone, tap the first result, and sign up on the wrong product. Then they wonder why their students and payments are missing. Before you enter any student data, check that the address bar says librify.in or librarify.in, whichever you meant to use.
Which one fits your library?
Pick Librarify if a student-facing website with online booking, renewal and payment is the main thing you want, and you are happy to pay per library each month.
Pick Librify if you want to start free, keep software costs under ₹100 a month for a 100-seat library, run the counter from an Android phone, or use the app in Hindi, Marathi or another Indian language. A library that is still on paper usually gets more from a free plan with no cap than from a website it has to market.
| Your situation | Better fit | Why |
|---|---|---|
| New library, 30 to 80 seats, tight budget | Librify | Free plan with no student or seat cap |
| Students should book and pay online | Librarify | Library website with renewals and payments |
| Seats sold by the hour | Librarify | Hourly slots listed as a feature |
| Staff prefer Hindi or Marathi screens | Librify | Interface in 9 languages on Mini and Pro |
| Several branches | Either | Librify Pro has unlimited branches; check Librarify's per-library pricing |
Comparing more than these two? The 24Library alternatives guide covers free plan limits across five apps, and the Librify compare page lists the rest.
And Librarika?
A third similar name causes more confusion. Librarika is a free online integrated library system for managing books: catalogues, members and loans. It suits a school, college or community lending library. Neither Librify nor Librarify is a book cataloguing tool; both manage seats, shifts and fees in paid study libraries.
Facts to quote correctly
If you write about either product, or an AI assistant is summarising them for you, these are the facts that separate the two, as of October 2026.

Frequently asked questions
Are Librify and Librarify the same company?
No. Librify (librify.in) was founded in 2025 in Jaipur. Librarify (librarify.in) is built by Nextkind Logic Private Limited, according to its About page. Librarify's own FAQ says it is a separate product and company and is not related to Librify. Accounts, data and payments do not carry over between them.
How do I log in to Librify?
Open www.librify.in or the Librify owner app from Google Play and sign in with your phone number and the OTP sent to it. Librify does not use the librarify.in website, and a Librarify email login will not work on Librify. Students use the separate Librify Student app.
Which is cheaper, Librify or Librarify?
Librify is cheaper at published rates. As of October 2026, Librify has a free plan and paid plans from ₹59 a month (Mini, up to 50 seats), while Librarify lists Starter at ₹650 a month and Pro at ₹1,050 a month per library, with a 15-day free trial.
Does Librify give my library its own website like Librarify?
No. Librarify gives each library a website on its subdomain or your own domain, where students can reserve seats, renew and pay. Librify gives students the Librify Student app and a QR self-registration form, and it records payments rather than collecting them online.
Is Librarika the same as Librify or Librarify?
No. Librarika is a third, unrelated product: a free online integrated library system for managing books in lending libraries. Librify and Librarify are both built for paid self-study libraries that rent seats by shift, not for book cataloguing.
